Thermage Orange County
Thermage is a completely non-invasive procedure performed by
Orange County cosmetic surgeon Dr. Tim Roham that uses deep heating technology to allow the skin to repair itself naturally. Thermage is successful in treatment of wrinkles and saggy skin. A single treatment tightens your existing collagen and stimulates new collagen growth. Improvements are both immediately visible and continue up to six months after the treatment. The Thermage results can last for years depending on your skin condition, sun exposure, and the aging process. Thermage has been reported to be extremely safe and is currently used for treating periorbital (around the eye) wrinkles, tightening of the cheeks, neck, and jowl area, and reducing sagging under the chin. It can also be used to tighten skin anywhere else on the body including arms, legs and abdomens.
How does Thermage work?
The Thermage radiofrequency (RF) energy uniformly heats the dermis while cooling and protecting the epidermis. Thermage is designed to cause immediate collagen contraction followed by new collagen production which occurs over a period of time. The Thermage procedure is the only non-invasive method to tighten loose skin. Unlike lasers, Thermage works on all skin types and tones. And unlike injections or fillers, Thermage works on your entire face - forehead, eyes, nasolabial folds, jaw line, jowls and the area under your chin. The Thermage technology has recently been extended to treat entire body and cellulite.
